Scandinavian Airlines’ yearly loss widens but hopes to be profitable for the current fiscal year

Scandinavian Airlines-SAS (Stockholm) reported a pretax loss of 1.25 billion kronor ($188 million) for the period ending on October 31, versus a profit of 381 million kronor in the previous fiscal year. SAS has suffered with a net yearly loss since 2007. The company with its reorganization program hopes to be profitable on a pretax basis for the current fiscal year that commenced on November 1.
